Sung Mass
On Saturdays, at 8.00pm, there is an opportunity to witness a local Missa Cantata (Sung Mass), with an authentic and traditional ceremony at Santa Anna Church, just behind Vila da Santa. A colorful and memorable experience!
The Church was built in 1743, with most of the original stones and artifacts still in place. It overlooks the sea, the beach and its traditional fishermen boats.
The Missa Cantata is also a unique occasion to connect with local Buzios people and their welcoming spirit.
